Pizza Factory Expands to Woodland’s Westgate Shopping Center
Pizza lovers in Woodland have something exciting to look forward to — Pizza Factory is bringing a new full-service restaurant to the Westgate Shopping Center at 353 West Main Street, Suites D & E.
Founded in Oakhurst and celebrating 40 years of franchising, Pizza Factory has built its reputation by serving smaller communities that often get overlooked by larger chains. “We felt Woodland was a nice fit because it has a great population and community feel,” said Steve Gibbs, vice president of operations.
What to Expect
The Woodland location will be more than just a pizza spot:
- Full-service dining experience
- A salad bar and lunch buffet
- Beer and wine offerings
- Spacious setup, as the restaurant takes over two suites in the center
The permitting process is underway, with doors expected to open by late November or early December.
About the Location
Westgate Shopping Center — anchored by Raley’s — is a bustling retail hub on Woodland’s west side. Other tenants include Dollar Tree, Togo’s, and Country Waffles. The center was purchased by Ethan Conrad Properties in 2018 for $13.3 million, showing continued investment in the community.
Pizza Factory’s Growing Footprint
Pizza Factory already has nearly a dozen locations across the Sacramento region, part of its 111 total restaurants spanning California, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, and Washington. Expansion isn’t stopping in Woodland — another franchise group is actively eyeing sites in Lincoln, Natomas, and Rio Linda for 2026.
Why It Matters
This new addition brings a fresh dining option for Woodland residents, reinforces the Westgate Shopping Center as a community hub, and highlights ongoing growth across the region.
